IyalHub respects the intellectual property rights of content creators and authors. We take copyright infringement seriously and will respond promptly to valid DMCA takedown notices.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Request

If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on IyalHub in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, notify us with the following:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work: Title, author, and URL of the original work.
2. Identification of the infringing material: The URL(s) on IyalHub where it appears.
3. Your contact information: Full name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
4. Statement of good faith: That you believe the use is not authorised by the copyright owner.
5. Statement of accuracy: That the information is accurate and you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Our Response Process

1. We will acknowledge receipt of your DMCA notice within 48 hours.
2. We will review the notice for completeness and validity.
3. If valid, we will remove or disable access to the infringing material within 24–48 hours.
4. We will notify the user who posted the content.
5. We will provide a counter-notification process if the user believes the removal was in error.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification including:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the material that was removed
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
• Your name, address, and telephone number
• Consent to the jurisdiction of federal court

Repeat Infringers

IyalHub will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.

Content Monitoring

We actively monitor for unauthorised reproduction through:

• Google Alerts: Alerts for unique phrases from published novels
• Automated scanning: Regular scans for duplicate content
• Writer reports: Community-driven reporting via the report form
• DMCA notices: Formal takedown requests to this page

Google Alerts Setup Guide

Authors can monitor their content independently:

1. Go to google.com/alerts
2. Enter a unique phrase from your novel (3–5 words unlikely to appear elsewhere)
3. Set frequency to "As-it-happens"
4. Set sources to "Web"
5. Set region to "Any region"
6. Click "Create Alert"
