Step 1: Create an Account
Sign up for a free account to access all features. You can browse without an account, but creating one unlocks:

Step 2: Discover Content
Browse our extensive library of Tamil and English literature:
- Use the search bar to find specific novels, authors, or genres
- Use the Novels menu to browse novels, short stories, poetry, and completed works
- Use search and filters on listing pages to narrow results
- Sort available lists by popularity, rating, likes, or newest where supported
- Check out trending and recommended content
Step 3: Read & Engage
Once you find something you like:
- Open a novel page to read its description, reviews, and chapter list
- Use previous and next controls to move between chapters
- Open short stories and poems in the clean single-page reader
- Bookmark works to read later
- Like works and chapters to show appreciation
- Leave reviews and ratings to help other readers
- Comment on chapters to discuss with the community
Step 4: Customize Your Experience
Personalize your reading experience:
- Adjust font size and reading settings
- Toggle between light and dark mode
- Switch between Tamil and English interfaces
- Follow authors to get notified of new chapters
- Use bookmarks and reading history to return to saved or recently read works
For Writers ✍️
Step 1: Create Your Author Account
Create an account and complete your profile before publishing your work:
- Sign up with your email address
- Verify your email address
- After you reach the dashboard, open Settings
- Complete your display name, username, bio, and optional profile picture
Step 2: Create Your First Novel
Use the quick-create cards on your dashboard to start a chapter-based novel:
- Go to Dashboard and choose New Novel
- Enter your novel's title
- Write a compelling synopsis or description
- Add genre tags to help readers discover your work
- Upload a cover image or generate one with the built-in AI option
- Choose status and access settings for chapter-based novels
- Continue to the novel management page to add chapters
How to Publish a Short Story
Short stories use a simpler single-page publishing flow, so you can move from idea to live story quickly.
1. Set Up Your Account
- Open iyalhub.com in a desktop or mobile browser.
- Register from the desktop button or mobile menu.
- After dashboard redirect, open Settings.
- Complete your profile details.
2. Create Your Story
- Go to Dashboard and choose New Short Story.
- Add a title and synopsis.
- Add genres and a cover image if needed.
- Continue to the writing page.
3. Preview and Publish
- Type or paste your story content.
- Save as draft if you want to update later.
- Use preview while reviewing the final layout.
- Click Publish and confirm to make it live.

Before you start
- Open the IyalHub website in your phone or computer browser.
- If you are on mobile, tap the menu button at the top right.
- Choose Register. On desktop, you can use the Register button directly.
- Enter your email and complete the account creation steps.
- After login, wait until the dashboard page opens.
Complete your profile
- From the dashboard, open Settings.
- Enter your display name. This is the name readers will see.
- Enter a username if it is required.
- Add a short bio so readers know about you.
- Add a profile picture if you have one.
- Save the profile before creating your story.
Create the short story entry
- Go back to the dashboard.
- Tap or click New Short Story.
- Enter the story title. This field is required.
- Write a short synopsis. This field is required.
- Add genre words if you know them, such as Family, Drama, Romance, or Thriller.
- Add a cover image if you have one, or use the built-in cover option.
- Click Continue.
Write and save
- You will now see the writing page.
- Type your story directly, or paste content you already wrote elsewhere.
- Use Save draft if you want to stop and continue later.
- You can return to your draft from the dashboard.
- Before publishing, read through the story once to check spacing and spelling.
Publish safely
- Click Publish only when the story is ready for readers.
- Use the preview to check how the story will look.
- If something looks wrong, cancel and edit again.
- If everything looks correct, confirm publishing.
- After publishing, your story becomes live on IyalHub.
Step 3: Write and Publish Chapters
Use the chapter editor for novels:
- Click "Create Chapter" from your novel's management page
- Use the rich text editor with formatting options
- Write in English, Tamil, or both languages
- Save drafts to work on later
- Preview your chapter before publishing
- Publish when ready so readers can access the chapter
- Use DOCX import for batch draft chapter creation when available
Tip: Regular updates keep readers engaged. Consider setting a publishing schedule!
Step 4: Engage with Your Readers
Build your audience and connect with readers:
- Respond to comments on your chapters
- Read and appreciate reviews
- Use analytics to understand your audience
- Share your work on social media
- Participate in the forum to connect with the community
Step 5: Track Your Performance
Monitor your work with built-in analytics:
- View chapter and work-level statistics
- Track total views, likes, and bookmarks
- See reader demographics
- Monitor engagement trends over time
- Set and track writing goals
